Jerry Olenik was the tech behind HKS, and one of the most knowledgeable Experimental Aircraft people we ever met.  Jerry , our friend and mentor, went West on March 20th, 2018. The loss of Jerry is a loss for all Aviation enthusiasts, and all that knew him.
